If you relish navigating high altitudes with a touch of elegance, this is the place for you. I had the privilege of working at this historic hotel, and the upscale ambiance is immediately noticeable. This isn’t the kind of location where you casually wander down from your room in socks and boxers…
For movie enthusiasts, this location served as a filming site for Dumb and Dumber. The Stanley highlights this with themed decor throughout the property.
This historic site is rumored to be haunted. If you are easily frightened, proceed with caution as this place fully embraces its eerie reputation.
Other than whats inside The Stanley, the real wonders are the views once you step out the front door. Views of some of the rockies largest peaks, and wild life like you wouldn’t believe. Never in my life was I able to get within 15ft of a large Elk. This was an opportunity like no other and definitely up there on my favorite remote work locations!
